Viewed from an almost aerial perspective, rich turquoise and ocean-blue tones sweep across the composition towards warm golden rocks. Expressive white details trace the shoreline, capturing the movement of foaming water as it washes against the rocks and retreats back into the sea.
I wanted this piece to celebrate the contrasts found along the coast — the fluid movement of water against solid rock, cool ocean blues against warmer earthy tones, and the constantly changing patterns created where the two meet.
Layers of blue, turquoise and subtle green create depth within the water, while the textured golden-brown rocks and flashes of white bring energy and definition to the shoreline. The abstract approach leaves room for your own interpretation while retaining a clear connection to the natural beauty of the coast.
