Golden Rocks 2 is a Giclée abstract coastal art print reproduced from my original painting and inspired by the ever-changing relationship between the ocean and rocky shoreline.
 
Seen from an aerial-inspired perspective, layers of turquoise, teal and deep ocean blue create a beautiful sense of depth within the water. Around the edges, textured golden and earthy rock formations meet expressive areas of white, capturing the appearance of foaming waves as they break against the shoreline.
 
I wanted this piece to celebrate the patterns and movement that can be seen when looking down upon the coast — swirling water, breaking surf and the contrasting textures of sea and rock. The open expanse of blue-green water gives the composition a sense of space, while the energetic white details around the rocks bring movement and life to the scene.
 
Touches of warm gold provide a striking contrast to the cooler ocean palette, giving Golden Rocks 2 its distinctive character and connecting it visually with the other pieces in my Golden Rocks collection.
